As the number of learners who qualify for a Reader accommodation increased, Prospectus Novus School now uses Exam Portal as Text-to-Speech support during formal assessments for these learners . This replaces a person as a reader for each individual child and multiple learners are now accommodated in a computer room with a single invigilator. Learners prefer the independent use of the computer compared to a person as a reader which makes them feel less anxious. There is no need for educators to make voice recordings of their assessments as previously required for audio aid, as they only upload a PDF version of their question papers on the portal. Support from the Exam Portal team is always professional and queries are addressed proficiently.
