Secure computer based tests

Secure computer based tests

Exam Portal is a secure computer based testing solution. Data is stored in an encrypted database on the server, and is encrypted during transfer to and from student computers. Students cannot see their test until their machine fetches the data from the server at the time the test is due to be written. Cheating is also not possible with the use of the computer, as the system “locks” the user in – Essentially disabling all windows shortcuts and access to the internet. Student answers are also saved to the server every 10 seconds, and in the event of a power failure, students can pick up right where they left off.
